A description of each station/poster board is as follows:
- Station 1: Introduction
These boards provide an introduction to the new transit study as well as the meeting purpose. Information about what an AA study is, who is sponsoring the project, and the project’s role in relation to the M-1 Woodward Streetcar Project are provided.
- Station 2: Project Schedule, How This Study is Different, Modes Under Consideration
This group of boards shows the 11 month project schedule with major milestones, details about what makes this project different from past and ongoing studies, as well as descriptions of the rapid transit modes under consideration for this project.
- Station 3: Rapid Transit Benefits, Where You Live, Work, Shop/Play
At meetings we wanted to convey some of the benefits. We also asked meeting attendees to show us where they live, work, shop/play. We use this information to validate some of our data inputs.
- Station 4: Modes Under Consideration, Determining Station Locations
This station provides information regarding the characteristics of rapid transit modes we are considering, factors we are examining in our preliminary analysis of station locations.
- Station 5: Evaluation Criteria
Station five lists and described the evaluation criteria we are proposing to use in selecting the best rapid transit mode for the Woodward corridor.
- Station 6: Regional Transit Authority (RTA)
This station provides a general definition of what an RTA is in addition to brief insight into how an RTA functions.
